ArmA 3 crCTI Proman Ladder Rules

首页Competition CenterCompetition RulesEvent Specific Rules

Foreword

Unless otherwise stated, all teams should first make sure they abide by the Global Rules.

The rules listed below are for trial implementation only, during which the ESPC management reserves the rights to add, delete and/or modify them without notifying participating teams and players.

These rules are set to explain the basic conduct teams are expected to adhere to and also the action that will be taken by the admins if evidence comes to light of these rules being breached by a player or team. All team leaders are expected to be familiar with the rules and there is no excuse for not knowing the rules. All team leaders are expected to ensure that their players adhere to these rules. If a player breaks any of the rules, action will be taken against both the player and the team leader.

I. Team Requirements

1. Teams must have at least 12 players on their roster.

2. Every player must enter their ArmA 3 GUID in their player profiles. That is all players should be "active". Here explains how you can find your GUID.

3. Teams using players that have been banned by ESPC or that aren't listed in the team's roster will receive a penalty. Whether a player that has his/her GUID mistyped is allowed to participate a match is at the admin's discretion. If allowed, the player should be mentioned by the admin in the comment area. And he/she should immediately rectify his/her GUID after the match is played.

II. Challenge

1. New teams will be placed at the end of the ladder after signing up and will receive 1000 points. Then they can start challenging teams three places higher or lower than themselves. Only when they enter top three could they challenge the top team. If they win the challenge, they will switch places with the top team.

2. Upon receiving a challenge, a team can choose to accept or decline it. Declining a challenge will result in a 2-point lost.

3. If the team being challenged is unable to play the match at the scheduled date and time for whatever reasons, or they wish to change the parameters of the match server, they can opt to reschedule the match. However, every challenge can be only rescheduled twice. If the two parties still can not come to an agreement on the match settings after two reschedules, the match must be played using the original settings.

4. The date of match should be within 7 days since the challenge is made. In other words, all challenges should be played within a week after being crated.

III. Match Settings

1. All challenges in the ladder should be played on a server running the crCTI Proman mission customized for esports by Team AngryInsects.

2. Any server of the participating teams can be chosen when making a challenge. If one of the two teams is unable to provide a server, the match should be played on the other team's server.

3. Matches should not be started unless each side has 10 players ready in the server. Teams are allowed to replace players with AI squad leaders in 1 or 2 slots anytime during a match. That is to say teams are allowed to play against a full-strength team with 10 or 11 players anytime during a match. In other words, as long as there are at least 10 players in each side, the match can begin and continue.

4 For any challenge, only ONE round is played. Before the match starts, a team death match round should be run on the match server. The winner of the TDM will have the right to choose which side to play. After that, the server admin should switch the mission to crCTI. The time limit of a match is 3 hours by default.

5. After the match ends, the referee will enter the match result on the match page.

6. If a team is suspicious of the game play of any players from the opposing team, they can raise a dispute within 3 hours after the match ends. If no dispute has been made 3 hours after the match ends, the match result will be deemed as final.

IV. Match Media and Disputes

Screenshot

1. The referee should take a EPM Rcon screenshot before the match starts and when dropped players reconnect. The screenshot should display the names and GUID's of all participants.

2. The referee should also take a lobby screenshot that shows all participant's names.

3. Besides the lobby screenshot, a match statistics screenshot should also be taken after the match ends. All taken screenshots should be uploaded to the match page where the match result is entered.

Dispute

1. When raising a match dispute, one should provide the ESPC username of the concerned player. If the player uses a different name when playing, you can find his/her ESPC username by checking his/her GUID.

2. Ladder admins have the final say on disputes. The dispute result is the final match result, which cannot be changed again.

V. Client Settings

1. All participants should use original ArmA 3 files without any modification, including mods. Players found using custom files during a match will receive a ban, and his/her team will lose the affected match by forfeit.

2. All participants should not use any softwares that can manipulate the data packets being sent to the server. Players found violating this rule will receive a ban together with his/her team.

3. Changing the game graphics or textures with the help of video card drivers or similar tools is illegal.

VI. Server Settings

1. All teams should tell the admin password of the match server to the referee 30 minutes before matches start.
2. All match servers should have Battleye enabled.
3. All match servers should not install any third-party server keys.
4. Before matches start, a team death match should be played to determine which team has the right to choose sides.
5. After the TDM ends, the admin of the match server should run the war version of crCTI Promman mission made by Team AngryInsects in order to start the match. The mission parameters that can be changed are as follows:

Parameter NameDefault ValueOptions
